why is this happening?
i thought i walked out of the circle 4 yrs ago..
Reminiscing it seems, hope's not..

The first relapse occurred last week
information gathered in the wrong way
and transmit through nerves and eventually smack right onto my heart..

it's worst than an asthma attack,
information that leads to nowhere haunting me..

it's like an injection of temporary depression shot right into the heart..
Head's experiencing migraine, eyes are heavy, throat's dry, hands & legs weak, knees wobbling

Perhaps it's not what i think it is, probably because of my grades, or the amount of work..
maybe due to insomnia or a combination of everything..

Had the chance of meeting new people, introducing to the whole class, fist banging with the Africans small talks with Asians.. Gossips of one-sided admiration etc etc

Friday : Last day of orientation, had a treasure hunt in groups of 5, finally got to know "princess" and she's from Taiwan ( Carolyn yeah..? )

End the day of orientation with a cultural show from the native Canadian

2nd visit to Lime Ridge Mall in the evening, didn't bought anything..

We met a couple walking their German Shepard along the Fall..

Can't get my hands off it..

The sight was magnificent and i had Wendy's old fashion burgers (felt that it's inferior to BK)

Sunday : Trip to Toronto (NYC of US)
Breakfast was Tim Hotons and the bus ride to/fro Toronto is about an hour (ipod comes in handy)
Spent the entire day in Eaton Center Shopping.. Huge Mall with Uber Brands ( Banana Republic, Zara, Aldo, A & F, Roots, Guess etc etc )

Got myself a good deal @ 67.8SGD

Cheers, i'm satisfied.. oh and the "Hot Italian Hotdog" sold by Hotdog stand along the street : DElicious~!

School's finally starting, back to NS routine days.. Till then, have fun..

*yay* i cleared my diagnostic tests with good grades (=
i'll be taking this 4 subjects for this winter semester

1) English G12 (basically literature)
2) Maths G12 (Advance Functions)
3) Accounting G12 (been doing this for the pass 6 yrs xD)
4) Maths G12 (Data Management)

Downside, the textbook/workbook for these 4 subjects sums up to 440CAD

Big thanks to all those who helped out in some way or another,
Next week, the grinding begins..

Day 6 in Canada

Met new people from all over the country.. Interesting ones includes a thai and someone from Ghana, really interesting people after much interaction..
If i remember correctly, the guy from Ghana should be called "Schlomo" (think blood diamond or russell peters)

Together with my fellow SGer, we went to Metro (24hrs ntuc)

I was shivering..

It was snowing the whole day, it gets irritating when flakes of snow gets into my eyes..
When the cold wind blows, it sends chill down my entire spine, true taste of Canada some said..

oh ya, not to mention, smoking/drinking do help in keeping yourself warm :)
till then, i'm looking forward to sat's Niagara Fall and sunday's trip to toronto :D

Day 1 of school

Eh, it's only orientation week, highlights would be 2 diagnostic test.. namely English and Maths
English seems rather easy with the last part being a composition, 3 topics to choose from

1) In your opinion, how does the advancement of technology affect the way we communicate?
2) What are the challenges that every student will face when studying overseas?
3) How has the career of your parents affect you?

Guess which one did i pick..?

Oh ya, did i mentioned i met some Singaporeans :D
Singaporean/Canadian PR origins Suzhou (medical student) - doc, i need medical attention..!
Canadian Citizen/Singapore PR, lives in SG all his life - Good luck with NS after 8 months, get to me if you need help (=
Singaporean Singaporean - A year younger than me, Navy Unit for NS and a Rugger ( xian wei, he behaves quite similarly to you, less your cold jokes xD )

Feels better after meeting them, at least my singlish can be understand by some.. and yeah, we agree that school's cafeteria = NS cookhouse (serg, canteen break plsss)

Other than boring movtivation talks and those 2 tests, we had a small tour around hamilton ( didn't bring camera )

Jet lag, seems to be able to cope with it better already.. Manage to grab the much needed 8hrs of sleep staring at 10pm which is good :) however, I'll still need awhile to cope with the low temperature

Sat Afternoon - Went Downtown Hamilton, the supposedly sub-urban mall of Hamilton itself.. Got myself some stationery and walked around a bit.. Went into Dollarrama (their one dollar shop ) and bought myself the Smiley Mug, now i don't have to worry about low water pressure from the tap :)

People in Canada are relatively friendly, they'll greet you as and when possible.. The bus that brings me up the mountain ( my residence is in the mountain ) only arrives every 30mins.. Manage to see a few homeless people (think south park) and a mini strike that last for probably 15mins with barely 20 people.. Took place in the center square of downtown Hamilton.. Pace is really slow out here as compared to SG..

Richard : Hooking me up with your gf despite a long day of work

Sunday - *Yay*, met my long lost friend Qishu.. its been 5 yrs right? Thank God he's around, makes things a lot better.. Went to Lime-Ridge Plaza (think Jurong-Point with uber brands like Gap, Guess etc etc)

manage to grab a prepaid card from FIDO (starhub alike)

Disappointment struck me when i hit the very first Wal-Mart in mountain plaza
nonetheless i still bought some stuff there - towel, cutlery, tapperwares..

Got to McMaster Uni and their medical campus/faculty , Huge.
and of course CIC itself, supposely the biggest International college in Canada but, like damn small sia..

Dinner was at some chinese resturant *woot* (i'm missing chinese food already) and lots of catching up thru out :D
After dinner, it was chilling at a nearby Taiwan Bubble Tea place (Mainly Asian and its close to CIC's female residence) *i can hear junwei , richard, dom, shek at the back of my brain and they'll be saying "go get them, new blood~!*
I was told that i'll be hanging out at that place pretty often just to chill with school mates or for dates.. (think PUA Day Game) xD

Got back to my residence only at 9pm odd and went to bed until now (argh jetlag)

It should be Monday back in SG, good luck to those whose school is starting yeah..?
